I know there are 2007 models in the VG Strat. Can someone confirm that there are 2008 or 2009 models in production? Made from the newest 2008 American Standard strat with the updated features?

I won a VG Strat here on the forum. I got it in July. It was made in 2008, except for the color - Blizzard Pearl, the specs are just like the 2007 one.

It is a very nice guitar, very flexible, and stays in tune wonderfully, and the rolled fingerboard edges are very good.

Fender will not answer you on this forum you would have to go thru their official channels on the web site...

If they have not released any info on new US models at the recent NAMM show (which they did not exception artist series) it means nothing new now. I work part time at a Fender authorized music store and I'll be the first to yell when they do release new stuff...
