I am trying to get my string action to come down a bit on my am dlx but I can't seem to get it anywhere near the recommended specs without getting buzz when I play past the 12th fret. I can't even get it lower than 7/64ths without getting some buzz. The relief is correct at .010. The only adjustment I haven't tried is the micro tilt (pitch of the neck). Could that be the fix?

It could very well be the answer. Infact for upper fret buzzes i usually look towards pitch rather than bow which tends to aid frets 14 to 1. also check your pickups arent too near the strings
