Any experts on old MIM Headstocks? I'm looking at some used MIM's (to take the workload off my 2000 MIA some) and running into some variations:

Usually, the serial number is in the front of the MIM's --- EXCEPT for deluxe or limited editions...right?

However, I've run into a few where the MIM serial numbers are in the back -- on mid to late 90's models -- that look rather nice.

These are close in looks to the 60's reissue headstocks with the exception of the truss rod adjust being on the headstock by the nut.

The truss rod location would disqualify it from being a 60's reissue...no?

So, any info on MIM strats from the 90's with serial numbers in the back, spaghetti logo in the front, but with truss rod screw near the nut at the headstock will be OH SO WELCOME!
