Hi people, anybody know if there is a way to take away some of the noise produced by noisy pickups ? even if its just a little bit? I have a set of fender MIM pickups they catch noise really easily is there a way I can shield them or whatever so the noise is dramatically reduced ?? anybody know?

My MIM pups were noisy too, so I just replaced them with Fender Vintage Noiseless pups.

Yeah, I have replaced pickups a lot too on my guitars but I wonder if there is a way to get rid of some of the noise some pickups produce ... I actually like how this set of fender pickups sound ... its the noise that bothers me :)

You might try adding some extra shielding to the body cavities. You might get a bit of an improvement that way.

And if you have a lot of noise, but other similar guitars, same model don't , check the wiring and make sure its all up to snuff.
