Anyone ever use Dragon fire pickups? The price seems low but the quality is guaranteed. I would just like to know if anyone has used these on their Strats

I have Dragon Fire Texas Specials in my MIM Strat. They have a nice deep tone and I use this guitar strickly for playing Blues. I`m sure the quality of Fender Texas Specials are better, but if these pups fit your budget I don`t think you`ll be disappointed. Honestly, its a matter of personal taste. I`m going to get an SRV Strat then I`ll be able to hear the difference. If your that unsure about them then don`t get them. You might want to save for a set of Fender`s but they cost about $ 185 plus paying for them to be installed. I won an Ebay auction and got this Strat for $170 and its in near perfect condition and the pups and pearloid pick guard were already on it.

Dragonfire pickups, eh? This is the first I've heard of them. I was expecting to see some competition for GFS, and here it is.

These look reasonable:

Anyone else with any experience with these?

Or perhaps two is enough.

Yes, JPD, that's right off of their website.

Are the pickups wax potted?

Ok thanks. I havn`t removed the pick guard since I got it about 3 months ago. How would I tell if its wax potted ? I don`t usually mess around with the pick ups so honestly, I`m not familiar with that term. Could you explain that to me please ? Thanks...
