Hope no one already mentioned it, but not his flashiest, by far, but really I think one of his absolute best emotional performances:

Eric Clapton--River of Tears

Well, I have to go with all Clapton here.

His solo for Don't Think Twice, It's All Right in the Dylan Tribute Concert is one.

If anyone has seen the Cream of Eric Clapton Video, his solo for Worried Life Blues was cool.

I like his solo for I'm Tore Down

And he was in an awards show a long time ago, like late 80's early 90's. And at the end of the show they have all the musicians jamming together. And they do Sweet Home Chicago and You Keep a Knockin but you can't come in and all the guitarest do they're solo's and then Clapton does his and just blows everyone away.

I have it on video somewhere, I'll have to upload it to Youtube or something.

Rory Gallagher's "Tore Down " off the BBC Sessions BLASTS Clapton's
version... not to mention his singing is better too in my opinion. 8)

Not really a solo, but Bill Murray singing "Gloria" at the opening of the 2007 Crossroads festival, it gives me chills.....brings a tear to my eye everytime I watch it :P
