Here's pictures of my Strat, before and after some Mods.
Removed the EMG's that were in it when I bought it.
Installed Samarium Cobalt Noiseless, and a new pickguard and knobs.

Here is Before

Very nice! Ocean Turquoise is one of my favourite finishes.

I noticed theres a chrome button where the volume knob usually is. Is it any sort of mod like a killswitch or just so you could have one tone knob or a volume knob thats further down?

Gord, welcome to the forum. Those are some beautiful mods. I'm a sucker for a pearl pickguard. 8)

The silver button is just to plug the hole where the other volume knob was.
I, like a lot of other guys, had trouble playing with the volume so close to the strings.
I'm going to look around and see if I can find a white one.

This guitar is a 1985 or so, 62 Vintage Reissue. The neck is unbelievable.
With the new pickups this is one sweet guitar.
