I`ve had my Strat for about 4 months now. I have looked this thing over countless times, and I cant find any thing wrong with the fit and finish anywhere. This is as close to my dream guitar as I could ever hope for. I am able to get the most satisfactory tones of any guitar I have ever owned. 7 different pickup combinations. The pots on this thing really work well, and are very responsive. I have the rosewood fingerboard. Allmy guitars have a 12 " radious neck, so I can switch back and forth with ease. But, since I bought this, none of my other guitars find much playtime. Like I mentioned, this is the most versatle guitar tone wise of any I have ever known, and `i`ve had countless. The price is absolutely right, for this quality af an instrument. I`ve seen and played many high dollar guitars that just don`t measure up to this baby I play through tube amps. This is the crimson red, and beautiful grain shows through. Absolutely love how the whole body vibrates as I play. I would not sell it .I`ve looked long and hard for a guitar of this Quality & playability. I just keep tweaking, and it just gets better. No I don`t work for Fender I just really have a good one.

I've had mine for eight months now, and I agree. It's a very nice guitar. Mine is Transparant Saphire Blue. There has been discussions about this model in the forums before. Some people don't like the gold color hardware. I do. I also like the noiseless pickups. I like everything about it.

yeah i like the transparent finishes. i'm planning on buying deluxe players strat sometime later (probably years...since I'll be playing my Clapton strat for a while) as a project-ish guitar. I love the sunburst with tortoiseshell pickguard! it has a classic look to it. can't decide if i want the transparent or sunburst-I'll decide on that in a few years...i have time lol

I've had mine for 5 months and absolutly love it. Originally blocked the bridge, but removed the block after changing the strings, no tuning problems since they were changed. I do keep tweeking, but probably alway will, looking for that perfect setting that I'm sure does not exist.

I own one as well (I've had it for two weeks). I have the transparent, three color sunburst finish, with a rosewood fretboard. The vintage noiseless pickups designed by Kinman are just that - noiseless.

Musician's Friend offered a fifteen percent discount during the Christmas season, so I got it brand-spanking new for $535.49!

I couldn't be happier (unless, of course, I win that new Fender Deluxe VM amplifier - nod, nod, wink, wink). : - )

Yup. I could also use another amp. For my living room while I mod my Epi Valve Jr.. I don`t want to take my other amps out of my psuedo studio.

Hello Ollman222,

That 12"r rosewood neck is one
of the great features of this model,
I like the vintage noisless pickups too.
The gold hardware gives it nice character.

Cheers.

I've had mine for 4 years and I think it's starting to sound Even better that when I got it. It's Transparent Saphire Blue with Rosewood Fingerboard. The only thing I changeed was the Knobs (not the pots, they're just fine), I put some shiny gold ones on it.

I dig the 7 position swithching. I use the Nek/Bridge a lot, as well as the Bridge/Mid with the button. To me it sounds more like a hot humbucker that the second position with out the button.

I am debating changing the knobs & pickup cocer as well. I don`t think the stark wite loohs well with the tortoise picgaurd. They stand out to much for my tastes. I would like to find a dark cream color. That is absolutely the only changes I would make.

I was going to change the pick up covers with gold too, but I found out that Vintage Noiseless covers are slightly smaller that standard Fender pick up covers. They fit OK but the posts were about 1/8 of an inch below the surface of the cover. I never looked for the right size, but I'm sure they're out there somewhere.

Cream would be would look nice, I may start looking for some. 8)

I'm getting one of these later this year. I promised myself I'd wait until Christmas time of 2009 to get a new guitar.
