Hi all,

I'm going to buy my first fender, of second hand, and I have seen one at good price but the seller doesn't know exactly the model that is and I don't know if it is an American Standard or a Higway one or what.

With the oversized headstock and 2 string trees...I would say by the look of the pic...Highway 1. The SN denotes a 2006 model. Very nice guitar. I own one that looks very similar to it but a 2007 model.

The price is 700€ with an amplifier Frontman 25 R. Do you think it worth the money or is better to pay 800€ or 850€ for a American Standard?

I am not too familiar with the exchange rate from US to UK currency; however, if you can afford the American Standard I would recommend to play them both through that amp and see which one plays and sounds better. Then your question will be answered for you. Let us know what you decide.
