I'm thinking of turning my strat into a fat strat....I have Texas Specials in my strat now....any suggestions on an HB for the bridge?

Fender used to produce a fat strat with Texas Specials at the neck and middle positions. I have one. The bridge pickup is a Seymour Duncan Pearly Gates. So, Fender thought it was a good match. They do seem to go together. I'm going in the other direction, however. I'm going to rip everything out and go SSS.

You're referring to the Lone Star (two words). The new MIM Lonestar (one word) has that same configuration of two Texas Specials and the Pearly Gates HB.

I would recommend the Seymour Duncan JB.
It sounds totally different, but still amazing in every different guitar.
