"I swear its De Ja Vu
Hey if you get the V6 and your happy thats cool but don't dump on the HEMI "

Yea, but that's not what we're hearing. What we're getting is that the V6 easily passes the Hemi, even on flat out straightaways. I think more people own V6's, and that's why they have to be faster!

MIM = Good Cost 400.

MIA = Better Cost 1100.

Unnamed in between= Very Good Cost 750. :?: not saying :wink:

The people at Fender are not stupid and they no what guitars are worth and what and they charge according to cost to make and value. If you buy a lower cost guitar in does not meen its a bad guitar but come on it cost less for a reason. And sure most guitar companies use CNC machines now days but they dont use the same quality of wood and electronics on all there models. (Corona uses Haas CNC's)

I agree pete55+fhopkins

And I will add I own both as you no.

and the most overrated one cost $999.? not saying wink

Tit for Tat Huh? :lol:

ummmm ok now were talking trucks

Just an Analogy :wink:
Although I do have a Hemi in my one vehicle.

Analogy =Analogy is both the cognitive process of transferring information from a particular subject (the analogue or source) to another particular subject (the target), and a linguistic expression corresponding to such a process. In a narrower sense, analogy is an inference or an argument from one particular to another particular, as opposed to deduction, induction, and abduction, where at least one of the premises or the conclusion is general.

As in any business, you have to target you customers, and decide who you want to sell to, the rich, (MIA) the average, (MIM) and those on welfare, (squire). Even vegetable farmers have different grades of products that bring different prices depending on the vendor that purchases them for restaurants, chain stores, or Gov food programs.
Everyone at every income level wants Guitars, not everybody can afford the bling, but everybody can afford hotdogs.

the 2006 to present MIM strats
quality/craftmanship body's and necks
are crafted just as well as most MIA strats.
i have both mia's mim's and mik's strat. what do they
all have in comon? #1 all three are cut from the same type
machines. #2 same alder and ash woods are used.
and #3 the MIM and MIK strats are fender and under the direction
of the fender corp. MIK Fender lite ash strat with the alnico pro ll
pu's are mind blowing. to me i can care less if the strat was made
at the corona. because today if its made in Mexico or korea you have
a well crafted guitar.

So now you're saying that a Korean made guitar is as good or better than a MIA? Because of the machines! :?:

I've pondered this question myself.

I really wish someone would do a "blind test" where they played several different styles of music and said which they thought were better.

The bottom line: MIA's have higher quality components than the MIM's.

I'd encourage anyone who's pondering a MIM/MIA to try out both with an open mind. If a MIM sounds better to you, get it and care for it.

People have said MIA's are of a higher quality and should last longer, but if it's not cared for properly it won't matter.

From what I understand the pups on an American Strat are made in Mexico. American Strats have better quality wood and finish. I agree Americans hold their value better. I have not played a Mexican in a long time but a pup upgrade and I am sure you would be hard pressed to tell the diffrence.
