I have a 2005 Jimmie Vaughan Strat, which I truly love. I haven't had any issues with it, other than needing to set it up to my liking. I wouldn't mind snagging a guitar in Fender 2009 Kickoff to add to my collection, though!

I almost bought one a year ago. The price was good but the color of the strat was wrong. It was Olympic White and I already have a fifties reissue that color. The pickups on the JV Strat are hot! If it had been a sunburst or black it would be here with me today.

I love the sound, but what got me to buy it instead of, say, a American standard is the neck... smooth as butter and perfect for my hands.

I bought a Jimmy Vaughan Strat last week at a crazy low Guitar Center clearance price. It was instant love... the feel, the looks, the Tex-Mex pickups... wow. It was an absolute steal at the price I paid for it but I wouldn't have minded paying the normal sale price.

The JV was so good that I broke my must trade in a guitar when buying a new guitar pledge. Aw, what's one more?
