Did SRV use a left handed bridge on his number one strat? I was looking at the guitar and it looks that way to me.

Thank you. Anybody know why? being left handed and playing right handed guitars upside down the bar is always in the way. Why do it on purpose?

I believe it was kinda a tribute to Jimi. he had the flipped over right hander, so his bar popped in at the top.

Seems like he got more leverage on it that way. I don't know, I've never played one.

It was becouse the trem arm was broken in the block and Stevie needed a new tremolo system, and all they had left was the lefty one wich he installed himself. I believe he cut out the wood with a knife! and thats why the "Custom" sticker is there becouse he kinda messed up so he was trying to hide it......
