Hello everyone
i got my Fender Eric Johnson Signature series strat in December 2005 and am truly amazed at how beautiful it gets with time. The neck feels even better now than 2 years ago.
I just dont gig it as much as i should coz i love it too much and fear losing it to some thief on the prowl or end up getting it bashed up while touring.
Do share your opinions on this lovely fender.
Cheers

Hey davidos: I believe you are the first person I've heard of on the Forum who has bought the new model. Congratulations: have you posted pics anywhere? If not, howzabout putting a couple on this thread?

And tell us how you find this new EJ. What color have you got? Have you compared it with the maple neck Johnson? What differences did you notice?

Cheers - C

Im quite interested to hear the pickups in those guitars. EJ's discerning ear and input onto the pickups does seem to promise a experience.

Beautiful!!! That has to be one of the prettiest rosewood fretboards I've ever seen!!

I like the leftover nitrocellulose rolls left under the pickguard.
