My Squier Strat has been in the shop for the last few weeks getting some new strings and pickups (Texas Specials) installed and I finally got to bring him home today. :D I can't believe how good it sounds and how good it feels. Yeah, it's a Squier Affinity Strat, but I really like the neck. It has a 12' radius and it's a little thicker and rounder then my Fender Standard. And it's purple. Not refinished, stock. :) That's why I got it. At the time, when I was 11, that was my favorite color. It was my first guitar, but it's basically been under the bed for the last couple of years since I've gotten the Fender. So I decided to hot rod it and set it up so it's playable. I have to pinch myself, it sounds so awesome. :D

It was my first guitar, I'm never selling it. Plus it rocks, so even if it wasn't my first guitar I still wouldn't sell it.

I still have my first guitar, and I modded it. Its a Ventura Gibson L6S copy. It stands up well to my ESP and Fender, but has its own vibe. Its probably my favorite guitar. Mostly because of its sentimental value, but its playability and tone are great

My first guitar was a '98 Epiphone Strat copy. I traded it for a lawnmower and the guy who I traded it with ended up snapping the neck in two (somehow). I still think of that guitar and the unfortunate end it had. (pouring a few drops of beer...)
