Just wondering who has one and if they like it. I just got one and think it the best thing I have heard, not to mention a great looking axe. The tone and balance are just perfect. just perfect.

I've never played one, but I really want to. I just had Texas Specials installed in my Squier Strat and let me tell you, it's the best sounding Squier Strat in Texas... No, America... No, THE WORLD! :D

How do you like the lefty tremolo? I'm thinking about having one put on my Squier but I'm still on the fence about it.

Hello Romaneav,

I've played a few, very comfortable
for me with it's slightly chunky neck.
Never got a chance to use the tremolo
as they were all new instruments but
I think it would be a nice departure
from the norm.

Cheers.

I have Texas Specials in my MIM Strat and it sounds great through the Blues Jr. The SRV Strat is my next guitar...I hope !

I love mine. It's a '93 and has a couple of mods.

I would LOVE to get my hands on one of the earlier SRVs. Nice and worn in!

Are the earlier ones better? What's the difference between them and the new ones?

Not necessarily better- just in my opinion. Generally speaking, older wood will sound better- 15 years wont make a ton of difference but.. Every bit helps.

I also just prefer the feel of a well worn in instrument.

Could your guitar possibly be in need of some lemon oil? I have been curious about conditions in a home that would dry out the fretboard faster than normal. I think I'll be oiling mine with the next string change. In your second pic, it just looks a little bit lighter in color than most I've seen. Beautiful guitar, and I like the sticker.
