I bought a FENDER HIGHWAY ONE HSS from GUITAR CENTER and it has black pickups, switches and dials. However, they gave me a whammy bar with a white end, I think that it should black. Does anyone know for sure?

Yes, it should be black. Usually Guitar Center will go to the back of the store and just bring out the first bar they come across. In your case a white one. I would go back and let them know that the white bar does not match the guitar.

I agree with strat-bat, the whammy bar should be black, take you whammy back to g.c , and i'm sure they will happily swap it over for a black one :)

The one I ordered had a whammy bar with the white tip. Mine too is a HSS in but in midnight wine transparent.

Knowing GC, they probably put you black whammy bar on a guitar with all white accents.

shouldn't the tip match the pick guard color? That is what I thought, so in my mind, yours is correct.

no, normally the tip would match up with the knobs and pickups

White knobs should have white tip. Black knobs a black tip, Vintage white knobs a vintage tip.

Yeah they gave you the wrong accessory bag. You can either keep it or see if they will trade it for the right (matching) one. Would look better with the matching tip. Honestly I did not even notice it until now.

I bought that drawing from an artist in Florida back in the late '90's. I love it, you could say it is my PRIDE AND JOY. HAHA, pun intended.[img][/img]

My ex wife bought me the same drawing for my birthday in the mid to late 90's. I know it was a limited edition drawing, she got it through the SRV fan club at the time.
