I have 3 Strats that I absolutely love and wished that when I die I could take them to the spirit world with me. But they will go to my two boys to carry on our family music tradition.

hee hee My wife also say's that if I buy another guitar, she would be walking out the door. Ohh well, as Brad Paisley sang, I'm Gonna Miss Her.

My first was a MIJ 1984 re issue 1962 Vintage Stratocaster. "Great Tone"
My Second was a MIM 2003 Standard Stratocaster. Iv'e only moded with "Texas Special Custom Shop" PUPS. "Great Tone again"

However, I now own a MIA 2008 Standard Stratocaster. 3 tone burst, Maple Neck fretboard, and all the goodies I need. This will never be moded and I love it.

Speaking with mates who own Fender Strat's from prior years, they love it compared to others built in most recent years.

I run my Strat's through a Fender Hot Rod Deville 4x10 and use a BOSS CS-3 and an Ibanez TS-9 stomp boxes.

"Gives me great Stevie Ray Vaughan Tone" I only wish I could play like him. I have my own style though to which I'm happy with.

Fender all the way, sorry other labels but I'll die with Fender in my heart.

Can some one tell me how to post piccy's on this forum and I'll put em up.

I love my strat....I have a 75 Fender Strat that I bought in 79 & it is amazing. I bought another American Standard Strat in 2006 to retire my old one, but I just can't bring myself to stop playing the 75.
