I know alot of people have changed out the humbucker pickup in their h/s/s guitars or if you have a single Humbucker you obvously have a specific pickup in it. Has anyone ever tried putting a Dimebucker in their Strat. I Play Single Humbucker Strats exclusively and am thinking about putting one in. I had a Deal ML with one in it but thats a completely different guitar altogether. If anyone has tried this, please let me know, I will eventually find out on my own in a few months when I build that specific guitar. Thanks Everyone!!!!!!

For all instruments. The double blades make this pickup suitable for both humbucker and Trembucker string spacings.

That's just from the Seymour Duncan website. I'm guessing since there are blades instead of poles, the spacing doesn't really matter too much and it can fit a Strat. But idk.

If your middle pickup is RWRP swap it and the neck pickup around, so the neck is RWRP. That way you still get hum cancelling in pos 4. And theres no nasty tone in pos 2.

My thinking is that the Dimebucker is going to be a really hot pickup and you'll end up with a very stark difference in overdrive when switching from that pickup to the single coils. Of course, if that's what you want, then it'll be a good thing.

Thats a problem I wont have. Its going in a Single Humbucker Strat, I am trying to put together the ultimate metal Strat, or as close as I can get to it. Just to show that Strats can hold their own in the Metal/Hard Rock world just fine.

Good question, I have always favored a bridge bucker but not tried an HSS and was curious about having to dirty a tone since I prefer a Strat more for clean or natural overdrive. Let us know what happens.
