American Deluxe Player's strat. It would be the most versatile guitar ever with the 7 pickup options and s-1 switch plus it would be MIA.

You mean this? The Dx. Player's Strat has noiseless pu's, doesn't it? So does this, and the S1 switch.

I think that Fender offers already offers a crap load of variations of the Strat and, if you can't find what you want from their current stock, you should probably look into customizing one.

I could be completely wrong, so dont anybody get all defensive and weird, but I think the non-American Deluxe and Standard models are basically cheaper versions of the American Deluxe and American Standard models. In my humble opinion, the "Players" label is sort of a marketing gimmick to imply something more special about a guitar thats made from lower quality components, materials and processes.

I say this without exploring the fine print about these guitars. So, if Im wrong, tell me what the major differences are and accept my apologies in advance.

The mim standard has ceramic pickups and five way switch
The mim deluxe players strat has vintage noiseless pups and 7 way switch

The mim deluxe player's strat has a 7 way switch so you can have every pickup combination on a strat possible plus it would have s-1 switch so it would be even more versatile go to guitar center's website and look at

1.Fender American deluxe strat
now look at
2.Fender Deluxe PLAYER'S strat
now combine the two

I counted ten pickup selections, way more than seven. Granted theres no bridge and neck option, but its a easy mod to turn 1 tone pot into a master tone and the other into a neck or bridge blend pot.
