I believe the pickguard color is "parchment"

it is a bit off-white

Hello Esierra,

5 year old stock, very strange indeed.
What's the name of this online outfit,
so I know never to purchase from them.

Hope things work out.

Cheers.

My thoughts exactly orvilleowner....it should start with "DZ" prefix not just a "Z" prefix.....and i don't think a deluxe has yellowish or aged pickguard should be mint green or the other colors that was mentioned by bluestube..

Hi esierra. If as suggested you have the "parchment" color pickguard then it is kosher - and rather nice, to my eye.

However, I presume this is the same guitar you mentioned on another thread with a crack in the headstock? That really ain't right and the guitar should go back - which of course is difficult if it was an international purchase from an online seller.

As requested, I think you should name the website, so's we all know what we are talking about. Also, the full serial number, please.

What a shame to have the purchase of a fabulous Deluxe compromised in this way...

Good luck with it - C
