Very nice looking guitar! I have played a few late 70's models and always liked them... Even if they do weigh more than a Les Paul!

I believe Andy Timmons (an Ibanez player) used to play a Strat when he first started out, however the Ibanez RT450 became his weapon of choice before they started producing the AT signature series. I actually have a similar model, the RT650 which plays much like my Strat but has an HSH pickup configuration and a different style trem with locking tuners. I like both guitars equally, as they suit different purposes depending on the music I am playing.

I didnt think I would like the color as I was more of a sunburst guy but it opened my mind to colors. Too bad Lake Placid wasnt available in 1979. That makes it obvious it was refinished.
