Ooh, you're right about the nice colors. Those two blue guitars make my poor heart skip a beat (as the bluesmen say). 8)

Ha! And yet, no banner ad announcing it on the Forum...

That one is going to cause a lot of excitement for sure. And they are clearly running it in addition to the current model, not as a replacement. Great!

Hey, I notice that on another thread about this guitar Forum member CWPainter says he'd be hot for a Johnson sig with a two tone body and the bound rosewood neck. Unfortunately, sunburst is not one of the body options on the new model.

BUT. It so happens, I have exactly the opposite inclination. I'd like the new new '60s style bod (in the Tropical Turquoise finish) but with the maple neck from the '50s type model.

So maybe we need to each buy one of the guitars, get together and swap necks!

Seriously, I wonder if there'll be some of that going on?
