Anyone know if the new "Road Worn" Fenders are made in Mexico or USA? Prices seem very reasonable.

I didn't see it listed anywhere but would almost bet my Strat that they are made in Mexico. Same specs (nitro finish, vintage hardware) as my '62 Reissue plus the 'relicing' for a cheaper price? Definitely Mexican made..

Also, it says that they come with a gig bag- that is an almost sure-fire sign in Fender-Land that the guitar was made in Mexico.

I just got an email from Guitar Center confirming it.. Definitely made in Mexico.

But, they did use real Nitrocellulose and fitted them with legit hardware so it's really not just a 'beat up Mexican Strat'. I bet that they will feel better and play better than the entry level American models. Looks are completely subjective but I don't doubt the quality and you simply can't beat a Strat finished in nitro with a six point bridge and classic stamped steel saddles!

Interesting, as of now for about $50 more you can get an American Standard.
