A neighbour just dropped a cheap chinese mini strat round for e to set up and re-string. Got it done and spent soe time playing it, tuned ADGCEA because of its diminutive size. What a cracking guitar for 50 quid new. A real bundle of fun. If fender ever make one of these im buying one.

Golly! Well, if anyone could get a tune outta that thing it would be you!

I still have my little 3/4 size violin from when I was eight if you want to have a go on that too...

That strats 1/3rd the size. The one i just set-up was half sized, i could play it though. Im just wondering if the one in the Ad is playable? Surely with working pickups, switches and pots it must be.

The one i tried was a lot of fun, tuned up to A it was like being in the chipmunks band.

He-he!

For sure my sausage fingers would have trouble finding chords on that one. Tune it open for slide perhaps? The Strat-meets-theramin sound...

Now you just gotta do it, Ninja!

Are those original fenders? or they are some kind of replicas of some sort? they look like they would be fun to have around :)

Says its a licenced guitar made in georgia, Hey a MIA for $80 odd. If you look at the decal it certainly looks like it says fender.

Fender did make one but discontinued it a few years ago. It was called the Stratocaster Jr. and had a 22 3/4" scale. They still offer the Squier Mini. It's built in Indonesia under a Fender license.

Did ya'll see the Bassman lunchbox on that page? It was cool; it comes with a strap, guitar polish, a polishing cloth, 3 sets of strings, and some other stuff.

I pointed the bassman lunchbox out to the missus. she said you need to find some work before you start worrying what to take your lunch in. :(

Ceri, reckon it would be possible to knock up some mini's out of your pearwood. Maybe even electric mandolin's? The smaller size may help get round the twisting problems.

About fifteen years ago I found a surf green mini Strat-like guitar made by Santa Rosa. I just tried to google a pic of it without success, but found this link naming a Fender Santa Rosa?
