Looks so cool. Nice pricing too, I can't wait to play one! If it's got the sound and playability to back up the cool looks then that black '50's model could very well be my first Mexican Strat!

I think $950 is a bit too much.

Just got my Musician's Friend e-mail on the Road Worn series. They want me to "preorder" one, but they can't give me a delivery date. And yes, $950.00 was a bit more than I was expecting.

I thought that might be because they had only one of each model to photograph. I probably should have posted this question in the "official" thread.

That is not possible to know right now , what if it turns out that these guitars are better than american standard? I mean that might sound nonsense but FENDER has been throwing out a lot of surprises recently like the new MIM logo and this new reliced line too so what if these are extremelly high quality guitars? what if ????? :)

I did the same thing a couple of years ago - a beautiful 3-tone sunburst with a maple fretboard. It was on sale (really) at the much maligned Guitar Center.

Its not too much when you think about a non reliced, Classic series strat with Poly finish costs 700. With these you are getting an aged nitro finish and upgraded pickups

still going for a custom shop 60s strat with the v neck. if you're gonna go with the relic look, might as well as do it right with the custom shop.
