I just got an '08 MIM strat for christmas and was wondering what the best way to clean my rosewood fretboard would be. I'm just asking because I was looking around and apparently this model has some type of finish on it so I am a little hesitant to use the method I used to clean my old guitar (i.e. Ernie Ball's wonder wipes).

Just wipe it down after use every time that should keep it neat...... now as time goes it will get a little dirty then I would recommend some kind of wood oil cleaner... :)

Well no, mapple glossy necks and fretboards dont need to be cleaned up with oils or soaps or other special stuff because the glossy finish can get damaged.... if you have a mapple fretboard I would just use some light stuff to wipe it down... I personally use the meguiars mist and wipe from fender :)
