The posts should be arranged from shortest to tallest starting with the high e. So, the tallest post should be on your low e string.

It might be different for these locking tuners but that is the way they are arranged on the Eric Johnson Strat. This way there will not be as much tension under the string tree and you will have less problems with the strings binding up under it.

Thanks everyone for the advise. Locking tuners are great, took care of the mysterious G string problem (at least for now). I did not notice anything wrong with the nut when I removed the strings. Slip off-slip on procedure. A little graphite on the bridge and nut and I can dive down and return to being in tune when I am done. I also got the Schaller Locking strap devises and put them on the Fender. A little modification on my Leather Strap and they fit like a charm (had to use a rat tail file to make the holes larger in the strap).

I put the Dunlop strap locking devise on my ESP so I can get wild with it too. Great day today. I played for hours today. Going to play more tonight when I get off the Forum.
