See, thats what i love about America and Americans. Their knowledge of where they came from and what it means. You just dont get that level of patriotism in the uk outside of aristocracy.

Apathy in the Uk.

Cheers for increasing my knowledge Mr Bill

Helle Electric Stella & Nikininja,

The don't use it any more,
it been replaced by a blue circle
w/ red & white banner.
The llittle sticker wasn't a true flag
as the blue field proclaimed
"Fender made in USA" this way when
they were all hanging in the store you
could quickly determine country of origin.

Nikininja, I also hold the Scottish Saltire
in high esteem as thats where my grandfather
sailed from back in the day.

Cheers.

Way back, the dealer used to remove that stuff. Take the plastic off. Nothing screams noobie more than trying to protect something that is trying to protect something. Don't worry about pickguard scratches, that's what it's there for. To protect the guitar. Have fun with your new guitar, don't sweat the little scratches they give the guitar a little mojo.

Hello Belphedeus,

That's a file photo off the web, it
doesen't really define the color well.
The circle is dark dark blue with a
dark blue star in the center.
The sticker is foil-like in nature.

Cheers.

I never heard that the white represented the separation of America and Britain... I was always taught we had red, white and blue because the flags of the nations influencing us were those colours - Britain, France, the Netherlands, etc.
