I've been reading the stuff on Callaham's site. I think the saddles with the longer holes to help prevent crimping and broken strings make sense. I saw a "base plate" for the bridge pickup - supposedly it'll make that pup sound "fatter". I was also wondering about the cold rolled steel trem block. My 62 Hot Rod seems to have a pretty beefy block - would I be wasting money? Anybody with experience with any of these, I'd appreciate your comments.
Thanks

I don't have the Callaham S-Bridge yet but i've read nothing but good things and I'll be adding the bridge and block to my Custom Shop strat when it arrives this August (9 month waiting list). Either way, I first heard about Callaham from a guy at Sam Ash and everybody since has highly recommended Callaham. Hope that helps.

I have recently replaced the bridge on my 06 Hwy1 with a Callaham and I love it. I am not a seasoned musician but even I have noticed an improvemant in tone and sustain.

They were great to deal with, and the replacement fit like a glove. You can see the quality in every part, including the screws. But I gueass for $165 it should be expected. I still consider it money well spent! Merry Christmas everyone!!

I replaced my Mexican Strat block with one of theirs and am very happy with the results.
