Nice collection! Especially the HSS, that's a cool burst, I like the contrast.

+1 on the Pearly Gates, those come standard in my Showmaster guitars, and I removed them. They don't seem to have any guts to them. If you want to stay with Duncans, may I suggest The Screamin'Demon, or the JB? those are pretty good ones. Then again the DiMarzio Tone Zone also makes a pretty good choice too.

Hi HarleyHexxe, welcome to the forums. Nice collection indeed, I see that you also tinker with your gear. Make yourself at home, it's a cool place here.

Claude.

Merry Xmas :)

Thank you Claude, I've been a member for a few months now, and I have my guitars posted in my introduction thread if you'd like to take a look at them. (I've only posted my Fender guitars, not the rest of them). I definitely tinker with mine. I'm a tone chaser.

I'm getting my collection of old Fender amps ready to snap a few pics of and post up there too.

EXACTLY!!! They have no guts. I've never heard of the screamin'demon. I'll take a look for sure. As for the burst, I saw a picture of a guitar that has that color on the net and just loved it, So I decided to give it a try. I think the overall result is good.

Thanks alot guys. I love them all for their diffrent sound.

If you've ever listened to George Lynch from Dokken, or Lynch Mob, ( The 2nd LP self titled Lynch Mob), then you've heard the Screamin' Demon. The 1st Lynch Mob ( Wicked Sensation), was with the JB in the Bridge position of a Custom ESP Strat copy.

I have the Screamin' Demon in one of guitars, and it IS sweet!

Hello TurbochargeMe,

Firstly welcome to the forum.

I sure the wall is big enough to support a telecaster too.
Nice collection you have there.

Cheers.

I did, really not that hard but you need to take you time. You don't want to rush it and make a bad paintjob.

Mr. Bill
There's more then enough space on the wall but the thing is I saw a Nice MIA Telecaster and I can't get it off my mind BUT my banking account said I can't afford it for now.

Sry if it took me awhile to answer, xmas party lol. Thanks for the warm welcome.

The Seymour Duncan Pearly Gates is a weak humbucker, but that's not really a disadvantage. It makes a great replacement for a Stratocaster stock bridge pickup if all you want is a louder pickup that retains some of the characteristics of that stock single coil. That's why Fender sells so many guitars in an HSS configuration. But it won't satisfy players who want a strong humbucker to run through high distortion. Those players are really better off looking at Gibsons, IMO.

You kidding right?! What if i like the neck, the feel of the guitar, the look, the sound of the neck and middle pick-up??? I should get a Gibson because once in a while I want a little more punch ?!?

Even the my super distortion have a nice clean sound you know, I can even tune it to have less "guts". you can't tune a pearly to have more guts...

my 2 cents
