The first riff I learned was from my father, he taught me the first bit to Barracuda by [the band] Heart. My father was originally a guitarist...quit for 15 years, then started playing the banjo leaving me to take up the guitar. Lovely. :lol:

"Sympathy for the Devil" (the "Get Yer Ya-Ya's Out" live version)--first song I ever learned to play!

Besides that, the first really cool intro riff I ever learned was probably either "Texas Flood" or "Honky Tonk Women".

The first cool harmonica opening riff I learned was to "Look At That, Look At That" by the Fabulous Thunderbirds (off the "Tuff Enuff" album)
