Post subject: What tuning heads?

The tuning heads need replacing on my MIJ squier,what do you guys recommend thats not too pricey,I'm UK based btw ,also what parts do i measure? just the holes?

Id recommend schaller locking tuners BUT I dont know if they will fit a MIJ strat .... :)

+1 on the Schaller locking tuners and I agree, not sure if they will fit. Might want to talk to a luthier before buying. Your headstock may need some work, or might not be possible at all.

I think that the Fender vintage tuners are by far the best. They are easier to string, you never poke yourself, look cooler and personally, I have never had any tuning problems because of them.

I've got Schaller locking on my Strat and I love em. They don't cost much and it's an easy change out.
