If the weather holds I'll fly out of JFK around 8:10 EST on the 19th, bound for Boca Raton, and return on the 6th. I have great expectations of having 'coffee' with 'stratmansteve'. We will keep you posted on that event.

I want to take this opportunity to express my thoughts as to what a great year it has been in the Forum, what an elegant group of artists you all are in your own right and how superb I find the camaraderie, compassion, and espirit du corps ( got that right, Alain??) to be.

I'll be offline until then unless we manage to get our service up and working once I get down there and to it.

May our days be merry and bright, and healthy, properous year to us all.

Everyone

I didn't realize that you guys were so close- I live in Brooklyn, let me know if you want to try and organize a little sip n' quip in the NYC area once you return.

Nice, we'll definitely have to set something up!

Have you guys ever been to Matt Umanov's Guitar Shop? Best collection of Strats in the city, in my opinion.

LoL @ Park S***....thats not such a bad area right ?...a lot of teachers live around there if I`m not mistaken. You have painter behind the initials, do you paint homes or are you an artist ? I`m an artist and do oil paintings of landscapes and drawings of all kinds, cartoon characters, still lifes, things like that. But I don`t do portraits, not too good at it so I stay away from it.

No, it's not a bad place per se, just a little on the boring side.

My last name is actually Painter.

I'd like to echo a little of what Doc said. I am so glad I discovered this forum. You ladies and gentlemen have brightened my days and strenghtened my resolve to continue learning my instrument.

I travel an awful lot in my job. Quite a bit of the time, I am posting from a hotel room or an airport...I feel like I have a whole world full of new friends here. What a wonderful bunch of characters with an unbelievably wide range of experience and knowledge. Thanks for letting me hang out with you.

A Merry Christmas and Happy and Prosperous New Year to you all..

That's a nice post, Troublecall: I can echo all of that.

And to ZZDoc: if we don't see you before January, have a great Christmas and every happiness and success in the New Year! Also, best wishes to Mrs ZZDoc and the whole family.

And come back soon - we need you round here!

Cheers - C
