i took my first guitar and made in into a sorta 60's relic. its now seafoam green, fender fat 50's pups, new knobs, switch, pickguard. i'm eventually going to put a maple neck on her but aint got the green right now.

Why put a maple neck/board on it? it looks well kewl with the rosewood and painted headstock.

Is that still the original bridge or a new one? If the latter, any fitting problems?

thanks! i agree it looks nice with the rosewood but i dig the way a maple plays. i modeled if after this beat up strat my uncle borrowed from a friend. it was seafoam painted over sunburst and it sounded like home cookin'. it didn't play worth salt but i dug it so i decided to one up my squire. Had lots of problems tho. the main one was that it was too cold out to paint so i had to double back more times than i can count on my hand. Once summer hits i might add a couple coats of laquer.

thanks and yeah its the original. its a bit stiff but i don't whammy much so no biggie.

i think it took me about a month. i wasn't able to work on it that often. plus i had to back track alot.
