Hi everybody, I have a question about the signature Strats (not the Custom Shops, but the Artist Series). You see, I'm left-handed, and the Fender site doesn't show any left-handed signature Strats.

So, my question is, can I order left-handed Artist Series Strats at my local Fender dealer? For example the SRV Strat. And if it's possible do I have to pay extra?

I have not ever seen or heard of a left handed artist signature (except for a couple of one-off's)

Which artist model are you looking at? If it is the Stevie Ray Vaughan Strat, this will get you very close- http://guitars.musiciansfriend.com/prod ... sku=510430

Black pickguard with some Texas Specials and you are pretty much there.

Thanks for the replies, guys. I was just hoping they where offered a left-handed versions. :( Well, I'll just buy a standard sunburst Strat, like you suggest and slab some gold hardware and Texas Specials on it. :)

Remember though, if you really want to get close to the SRV vibe you'll need a reissue, not a standard. Little more expensive but definitely worth it, in my opinion.
