I agree, I believe the only reason those guys used what ever came on stock, is because there wasn't anything better around at the time.

I put sprezel locking tuners on the Mexian Im using, and had it set up, and it never goes out of tune no matter what. The only problem I see with graphite is that it tends to wear down quickly.

Graph techs are a good upgrade.

I think I may go with a Callaham set up when I upgrade my 1996 Deluxe Fat Strat. It just seems like Callaham makes the best stuff around. It is a little pricey, but stainless is almost indestructable, and transfers vibration in a superior manner to cheap steel and pot metals.
