hi. i was wondering if it would be possible to get a custom shop strat with a 25 fret neck? i know they dont have them on the production line but im sure one of the custom shop workers would know how to make one and then he could just make one up?

I think they wouldn't do it.

Warmoth might (they already make a 24 fret replacement neck).

I with you orv but the cost would be like . Stand a better price of getting a Warmoth made with it.

I'm sure they'd be happy to do a custom job like that, but you'll pay out of yer $@! to have that made.

25 frets? Would you play that on your amp that goes to 11?

24 frets necks are common. You can get on on a Fender Showmaster (strat-like guitar). The previous Korean ones are decent and not nearly as much as the custom shop versions.

If you want to know for sure whether a warmoth 24-fret neck will go on your strat, it might be a good idea to call warmoth and ask them directly.

That baritone neck has a 28 5/8" scale length. Warmoth make those as "conversion" necks: in other words, they will fit on a standard Strat body to change the scale length without other mods. They do a 24 3/4" (Les Paul lenght) neck to fit a Strat too. See this page for info:

try Er Roman out of Las Vegas..he gost builds guitars for many companys and has made custom guitars for just about every Musican in the Industry. He makes a Strat copy he calls a perlcaster that blows away the quality of fender... there spendy though...most of his customs are 24 fret so most of his equipment is set up for it...check out the web sight and give them a call.. a bolt on neck in not too bad a price.. had him do one for me.. paid i think it was 75 for the neck, and 4 hundred to scallope it out..

I don't know the guy, but I've heard sooooooooooooooooooooo many complain about him a a number of different forums.

You know first hand, for some length of time, that's he's trust-worthy and reputable then? I'd be very cautious since I've heard almost nothing but bad things about that guy.
