There are a lot of great strat players, guys who can really rock and make their strats scream like hell, but for me the real guitar heroes are those who can touch me emotionally with their playing. Needless to say that Mark Knopfler an David Gilmour are on top of my list :wink:

I am positive that my favorite guitar player/musician/person/influence/strat player is John Frusciante just for his tone, emotion, and himself.
