I was at my local shop today they just took in a Fender Elite,MIJ. I can't find any info so I am looking for some help. It looks to a Showmater, no pickguard, a singal humbucker, and volume only. It looks to have the Freeflyte Tremelo System, made by Kalher, I think. The neck is pianted black with a rosewood fret board. It is nice 80's purple color.
Is this worth a few hunder?
Thanks for any info.

Sorry no one has answered you. I would play it. If it is the best thing you've ever played, then yes. If it is not, I would buy a new one for a few hundred dollars. As far what the guitar is worth, google it or check craigs list or e-bay for asking price for a guitar simular to it.

Thanks. I don't really need another guitar, but if was something that might worth to get and keep, then I might do it. I have played it and it feels like a strat, nothing jumps out and screams take me home.
I have tried to find info on these guitar and can't seem to find the right one. I will keep looking.

Ok, I have found some info on the Kalher web site. It looks to be a Contemporary model 27-4400, with the fendere system 1 installed. Looks to be an early 80's guitar, with basswood body, 22 fret rosewood/maple neck.
Anyone have any imput on these?
