I found a stratocaster built for the Guitare center 30th anniversary in 1994(250 made).
Does anybody already saw one of those Start, or even has one of those Strat ?
If it's the case, can you tell me what kind of wood, pick up is used for that guitar, and the original price it cost ?
Thanks for your help.

I think that is right. I don't know what the mystery really is. Looks like a limited edition stratocaster. it's not unusual for a store to buy a small run of special instruments from Fender. Looks great btw enjoy! :D

Hi.
I'm brand new at this forum :D
I do have one of those strats. I bought it new at the Guitar Center in Dallas in 1994. I think the price was around 6-700$ with case. Mine is number 218 of 250. A well buildt and nice guitar.
It is configured with texas special pic-ups. It has only a 3-way selector (?). The seller in Dallas explained that the guitar was custom made to be set up as a 1964 strat (30 years in 1994).
Mine still got the original plastic wrapping at the pick guard.....

Hello Strat-o-sphere,

Quite nice figuring on the top of that guitar.
I never came accross one of those,
Thanks for the photo.
Best of luck with it.

Cheers.

I would guess it is a FSR (Factory special run) that Guitar Center had made for there sale only. FSR guitars are sometimes hard to find info on since they are made for sale by different stores that contract Fender for there builds.
