Now that I've hit my 50's, I can finally afford the three dream guitars of my high school days:

American Strat
Rickenbacker 360-12
LP Standard.

I own a MIA Ash Deluxe Strat.

I would buy (only if I'm rich again) a Tele Baja Classic Player, because of the sound and playability, and because I tested it! It would be great for more saturated sound and rock with grind!

And maybe (after trying 'em only) a PRS with humbuckers....

But My American Deluxe Ash strat is already a wonderfull instrument and I need to learn much more on it, soundwise (remember there's the S1 switch)
:)

I'd probably go with a Gibson X-Plorer, then trade it in on another Strat. 8)

I have some Fenders, Gibs and other stuff.

One day I'd love to own a really nice Hamer - but that will take a lot of loot! Jol Dantzig is one of my fave builders on the planet.

After that, there's a small company called Martyn Booth who do jaw-dropping things with timber: I'd be happy if one of these came my way:

And last but not least, Patrick James Eggle is making some sensational acoustics again these days.

Do you hear me, Santa?!

Cheers - C

Haha! She has the good manners to ask me sometimes what's new on the Forum. It helps her get to sleep...

'Fraid none of that stuff's coming my way anytime soon. But that Deluxe Tele you're gunning for sounds completely reasonable. Man, that would look sweet next to your Deluxe Strat - in the same finish, yes?

Snowy needs to be sure to lock his door when he's out. Lot of us liking that one!

Cheers - C

Yes it would. I hear rumors that we are all going to Snowy's house to celebrate our 200,000 members! He better stash his guitars for that gathering! BTW why don't you take a pic of the pig hanging over the man's houseboat?

I always did like that color combination of the guitar on bottom right! What is it called? Very nice collection! 8)
ps I'm sort of color blind . I don't know if the guitar is black or a root beer color.

The Strat is Montego black, which is cool up close, but in pics it either looks brown or dusty. :D
