If you have a second non-strat electric guitar .. what is it ? if you don't, what would you like to own ? A Gibson, a PRS, a telecaster, a semi-acoustic electric... I have two strats, a shecter & a fretless custom, but would like to buy a Gibson custom someday?

buy the Gibson it would complete your arsenal, remember Fender and Gibson have completely different sounds and would complement each other perfectly, or a tele although you can get similar sounds of a tele with your strat with the blade in the right position

Telecaster. Especialy a baja or 52hotrod. Failing either of them the PRS 513 would be my only other choice of what you listed.

I agree cvilleira

I'll just wait until prices go down... with the economy in bad shape ... I guess we 'll be hearing of a lot of sales and price drops soon...

As well as my 3 Strats I have:
1995 Am Standard Tele
1981 BC Rich Mockingbird

I would LIKE:
Gibson Flying V
Gretch - any one
Rickenbacker - maybe a 360?

Love,
Todd

At least 1 Gibson LP for a different sound you want. I also would get a USA Kramer over the Jackson or Ibanez.

Hello Hisham Seif-Eldin,

Telecaster for me,
I have a Mexico tele now,
I'm thinking a USA model in '09.
GE Smith and '52 reissue
are models I like.

Cheers.

I have two strats but Gibson LP and 335/355 would be my next pick for me. At least that is what I tried. Once I tried an Epiphone (Casino or Sheratone not sure exactly) and that was an awesome guitar. It sounded so sweet thought the fender amp and acoustically. But a price was a in the $2500 range quite in the Gibson territory.

I have been collecting guitars for 30 years, so I have a few non Fender guitars. I am not well off, so I tend to buy guitars second hand, and refurbish and repair them. The ones I like, I keep. The ones that I don't love, I sell. Current lineup includes;
1989 Charvel Strat w/ Jackson neck
1998 Epiphone Sheraton II
2003 Epiphone Les Paul Standard Plus Top w/ DiMarzio Air Norton
1974 Ibanez Les Paul Custom 2350 w/ Seymour Duncan SH-4 JB
1980 Ibanez Blazer BL-300NT
2004 Squire Deluxe Fat Strat
1966 Harmony H-14 Bobkat w/ DeArmond Goldentone
2000 B.C. Rich Bich
2006 First Act Custom Shop ME-701
plus several bass guitars and acoustic guitars, and all my Fenders
