I'm about to buy my very first fender and have been looking around. Arctic white is my favourite at the minute but i've noticed another finish on the fender website. It appears on the right hand side where the different pictures of guitars are shown. Its the one with a mustang like stripe down the right hand side of it. I fear its a specially designed one and probably out of my budget, but for a money-not-a-factor-dream guitar i was wondering if any of you out there knew what/where I can see another one.

Cheers

It's a custom Strat, GT series for that new mustang.
Find it on the home page and sign up to win the
guitar & the car! I check several months ago to
see if I could buy it, but they were out of them.
Only thing left was a blue acoustic that had a ford
emblem on it.

Dont know, it just said they were sold out, no pricing was noted.
I would bet probably in the $2,500.00 neighborhood.

You should probably just go ahead and buy EVH Frankenstein for
a cool $25,000.00

I dont know if you've seen the EDV frankenstein ?
Huge fan of Eddie and his work, but really folks,
$25,000 grand for a guitar that looks like the neck pickup
was carved out with a dull wood chisel & hammer?
No disrespect intended - I would give anything to have it.
Guitarcenter wouldnt let me try out the one in the glass case?
but I would bet money there is little or no chance I could make
that axe sound like him anyway. I will be sure to pick one up
when my ship comes in!

But if I do see or hear of the custom GT strat anywhere, I will
be sure to let you know.
