Mine is an original 72 Stratocaster when they were all made here and very few options were available just color, neck hardtail etc. Mine is a tri color sunburst with a maple neck, three way pickup selector because that's all they had then. Three bolt neck. ( anybody that tells you they're unstable never owned one) and a tilt neck micro adjustment with a floating trem. I've had this guitar since it was new and it has no modifications. It's an incredible sounding and playing guitar that I will never part with.

I have a 2004 Tie-dye series, 24 fret set-neck, Tobacco colored quilted Babinga top Showmaster w/ 2 double coil Seymour Duncan pickups. It was made in Korea, but I don't care. It's very pretty and is an awesome guitar especially when kickin' through overdrive.

And I have a 2007 SRV signature Strat that blows it away when played clean. The overwound "Texas Special" pickups have an awesome tone that can be addicting. It's great for Hendrix, Pink Floyd or a wide variety of strat tunes, but the Showmaster has a meaner tone for heavy metal songs.

I also have a 1982 Guild D-25BLK (black). The D-25 series is in my opinion the very best acoustic guitar model ever conceived. The beveled back gives it a deep resonance that Ovation tried to accomplish, (plastic was the worst way to go). I had a 1973 D-25CH (cherry) for 16 yrs until it got stolen. It took me 5 years to find its replacement.

2- Eric Clapton Strats , one stock Oylimpic white, the other Torino red (modified to Pete Townshends strats...Fishman powerbridge with the extra volume pot behind the bridge and soon to be gold Lace senors).
1- Highwayone Strat Red (circa 2003?) modified with the Fishman ala PT.
1- MIM Strat chrome red, with Lace senors and a refitted with a 22 fret Allparts Maple neck c/w extra jumbo frets (beautiful neck!) and Fender locking tuners and a single ply white pick guard.

I just traded (or should I say returned) a Custom shop "Blackie" for a limited edition Gibson PT SJ-200

I have a squire chrome fat strat.

http://www.squierguitars.com/products/s ... 0321703506

It's alright, something to get me started on. I'm saving up for a John Mayer strat. It'll possibly be two years or so until I can afford that. Because right now I only have about $120. But it'll be so worth it

:)
