If for some reason I lost my EJ and couldn't ever replace it I'd go back to the American Deluxe ash bodied strat. I'd probably change out the SCN's but that's one damn fine guitar for the money. The one I owned was as sweet as some CS model's I've played.

Thanks , I appreciate that, I would not mind having an EJ myself

I know those EJ's are a bit pricey. I was kinda shocked to see one for sale yesterday on Seattle's Craigslist for $1000. I almost got in contact with him, that's a hell of a bargain. Then I remembered it was just G.A.S. and I didn't need another one.

I have a 1960's style Mexican Strat, in three tone sunburst. It's my first "real" guitar, I call her my chica. She's my first true love. Except for that girl I nearly married

mine is a '96 Fender Traditional Fat Strat (HSS)
it was the most affordable Fender series available
but just for not very long
there are now many Squire selling at same or higher price
wonder if it is a good idea to reissue this series
it would probably be good for people who wants a Fender
it will be something like the case of
Takamine D series for Takamine
you can choose between a Takamine D series or a Jasmine
