Yes.....On my red HSS (see posts) I have a DiMarzio Super Distortion humbucker (the FIRST aftermarket replacement pickup) which indeed has a ceramic magnet. It sounds great....but I prefer the warmer sounds of an ALniCO magnet...either 2's or 5's.

Gibson also makes ceramic humbuckers too....the 500t (?) I believe.

OP - I'm not quite clear what your question is. Are you asking if strats in HSS form usually have ceramic magnets in all PUs?

Re: Ceramic or Alnico magnets, you can get whatever you want and fit them yourself.

I meant in general because Ceramics are supposed to be hotter than Alnico

Magnet material doesn't seem to be an issue with singles so much as for buckers unless you're after extreme outputs. But FWIW Alnico is actually a stronger magnet weight for weight than Ceramic. I suspect a significant reason Ceramic magnets get used for hot PUs is that they seem to offer a crisper, brighter tone than alnico, and that will reduce the muddiness in an overwound PU. Also ceramic is cheaper.

The hottest single coil I own (a Dimarzio FS-1) has alnico magnets, and is wound to 11.7K. In terms of volume it's a little louder than a rails type minibucker I have that has a large ceramic magnet on the bottom, and is also wound to 11+ K. The FS-1 is a bit too dark to use anywhere but the bridge.
