I'm playing an American series 2006 HSS Ash Strat in Sienna Sunburst and I'm looking to change the Diamondback H/B at the bridge to a Tex Mex single to match the middle and neck pups. I live in the UK and I'm having great difficulty tracking down this PUP individually. The Tex Mex's seem to be only available in packs of three.
Can anybody suggest where I might be able to get a Tex Mex bridge pup without having to buy the other two??

I didn't realize Fender was producing American series guitars with Mexican made pickups? You might want to consider pulling all of them out and putting a set of Texas Specials in. I like the three single coil configuration better as well, If I want H/B pick-ups I'll buy a Gibson.

Your going to need a new pickguard too :)

Easier to find and swap in a preloaded pickguard with the pups you want.
Makes it easier to swap back if you don't like the new configuration too.

Hi WRC73: Fender's Tex-Mex pickups are US made, to the best of my knowledge. Like Tex-Mex food, the name indicates a flavor rather than place of manufacture.

Though probably someone's going to post and tell me differently now! :)

To the OP: ScoobyStrat, I have had a bit of a look around amongst my list of "usual suspects" for UK pickup sellers and, no, you're right, I'm not finding anyone selling Tex-Mex pickups individually.

However, a quick glance at Ebay found this page, including a fella in the US who has split a set and is selling them seperately. OK, you'll have to pay trans-Atlantic postage, but that shouldn't be too painful on a small item.

The only other option I can think of is to contact Bare Knuckle Pickups and ask them if they can make up a matching spec pickup with a parchment colored cover. If you ring, ask for Tim: he's extremely knowledgeable and helpful. I'd have thought it's perfectly do-able.

Good luck - C
