I have actually, ive been playing a few different Am Std tele's in the local music store every chance I get.

They sould totally unbelieveably awesome through what i think is a bright blue deluxe twin ( 1500 euros here for the amp alone)!

Played a red with rosewood am std, and a natural with maple neck am std today and had a great time.

They sound and feel awesome, although the maple neck feels slightly fatter than the rosewood on the am std.

It will be a year or two at least before i can add either the guitar or amp to my collection, but its good to have goals and something to aim for.
