She's a beauty. And what amp are you gonna play her through?

Love,
Todd

Very cool, love the color scheme. I'm a big fan of wood finishes as opposed to a solid painted color. It's similar to how I refinished my black MIA into a vintage wood tint.

Nice guitar, I'm sure she'll give you many years of memories.

Please dont get mad, but currently shes only been played through a..im ashamed to say it... 10 watt marshall practice amp

I have reasons though. I ordered a fender blues deluxe reissue along with the guitar, but on the day before delivery i was told the blues deluxe would be delayed by about 3 weeks due to xmas rush and all that.

as id be on xmas holls when the amp was scheduled to arrive, and i wouldnt be around to collect it, i cancelled the order and am now reconsidering what i will get.

its prob still gona be a blues deluxe, but if i play something else that sounds better in the meantime then i might go for that.

if i dont then il be hopefully picking up a blues deluxe reissue in early janurary.

Yeah, you'll want a nice tube amp to really let her sing. Beautiful guitar though.

Not to worry about my wrath.
Sometimes I have to play through my son's little Line6 amp. Sad.
But, your new baby will certainly be happier in January, won't it?

Love,
Todd

I was bearly able to play a few notes when I ran into my Deluxe too :)
But just plucking a few notes and chords, I I know I was in the right thing!

Moreover the cherryburst is a delicious color scheme :)

As mentioned before, i spared for a long time, and a strat was long time desired, so I don't have any regrets :)

It's a dream come true.

Update on this thread, the old crappy 10watt marshall is now replaced by a Cube 30x.

Was gona get a small valve amp, but as i live in an apartment with paper thin wood floors, and the fact that i have to crank even a 5w valve amp up so that the windows are vibrating just to get a good tone, it was unfeasible.

The Cube 30 gives decent blues tones at volumes that wont get me evicted.

now...you'd think id be happy, but instead i wana add a telecaster to my collection. bugger to this GAS.

Sorry for dregging up an old thread, but wanted to let folks know that my setup isnt lame anymore!
